Interlux Y333 PT Brushing Fluid_Ounces Review

If you've found this product, you probably already know why you need it. The lacquer is not initially applied to the prepared wood surface with 100% lacquer, but is trimmed at the recommended amount that should be used with Interlux lacquer products. Read the label to verify the ratio. It took me about three coats to get a flawless look on the paddles and other details.

This product will not function as a regular thinner. I followed the directions and applied a first coat of Schooner Gold thinned 50% with Interlux #333 Thinner. This layer of paint did not want to dry. It was still sticky after 24 hours. Interlux technical service (he called back very quickly) suggested sanding the surface lightly or treating it with metal wool to break the film that had formed on the surface of the paint.
