best for gearbox and transmission

The U joint intermediate steering shaft fits my truck perfectly and is easy to fit. I would recommend buying from GAW Auto Parts because if you have a problem you can call them and they will help you fix it!

First I placed a bet on Friday evening and received the goods on Sunday afternoon. I've had it on my truck for a few weeks now and it's still holding up. I went to local parts stores and they all wanted up to 300.00, it looked like the same quality, I will order more if I ever need it.

06 F150 Screw Now steers smooth as silk

I replaced a bad steering shaft in my 06 F150 SCREW with this last night and the steering is tighter and no longer grippy. The lower propshaft on the old one was shot through and stuck, I'm really surprised the steering didn't deteriorate when I pulled it out and checked. It's not a super hard job, it probably took me about an hour. Installing a socket or wrench on the bottom bolt behind the oil filter and radiator hose is the only tricky part of the job. Fits, works, just great.

The price is normal and will probably last forever. Missing information (manual/instructions) cause me a small problem. First, they must pocket a plain piece of paper advising that the steering wheel must be "locked" before attempting to remove the old shaft. This will help your children or even yourself not to get into the cab and turn the steering wheel. Even a slight movement can make it difficult to install (align) a new one, and a few turns can destroy the airbag connectors in the steering
