Where was it 3 years ago? Now struggling to recover files from another HD crash. In the meantime I ordered this huge HD for an equally limited laptop with amazing speakers and connectivity. No installation errors, excellent transfers, downloads, software, browsers, videos and music. Works cool. Thanks again for the fast shipping and the details!

Perfect OEM replacement for my HP laptop. The old hard drive died out of the blue, this one got up straight away and works great.

This isn't the first hard drive I've replaced and will likely be the last. Other than that it was very easy for me, it was thinner than what came factory installed on my laptop but the connections were right. Will definitely buy again if needed!

Listed as compatible with HP Pavilion DV6700 but not. I'm not very computer savvy so I don't know any jargon. But I can definitely see when things don't add up. The connector parts don't fit together as tightly as my old hard drive, so my laptop can't read them. I received two of these and both arrived exactly like the picture I am attaching. If you have an HP Pavilion DV6700, don't expect this to work.

Hello, I have bought this new hard drive and am trying to add an operating system. I can't do it from the bios menu because the drive isn't listed.

I had to replace my old hard drive in my laptop because it was starting to fail. I replaced the old one with this one and my computer still has hard drive issues. I tried to get a refund but the refund window is very small. Very disappointed.

I had a great working computer for 7 years, no hard drive or other therapy issues and then the hard drive died. I replaced it with this one and died within a few months. I rarely use my computer, usually just for streaming, so I don't see why it could be dying.
