🪑 Unfinished 30-Inch Round Top Stool by International Concepts: Premium Quality and Appeal Review

I recently moved and got a lot of new space for my bedroom. I wanted something versatile as I like to change up decorative items from time to time. I saw this stool and immediately fell in love! I am currently using it as a plant stand but I can always use it as a real kitchen bar stool downstairs or while painting. I have planned so much for this stool!

My stool had a very smooth surface on the legs and seat. Very durable, no play in the legs. The legs of the stool I received were not as far apart as in the picture. what is good. Just an observation. I just painted mine black and used it as a guitar practice seat. I love it. It is sturdy and can easily support hundreds of pounds of weight. Very slight wobble on a flat surface, but not enough to take the time to fix.

The one for my kumquat worked great. But that for my orange made it too big to capture as much sunlight as it needed. I need to find a wooden stool that's a few inches shorter. (only for my orange). The stools tip over easily. The little boy next door is helping me with the housework as I have a nerve injury which is making me tough so between us none of the stools fell over but they threatened several times. This is a solid unfinished furniture from Vietnam. There are rough edges on the edges of the seat. It was hand made so there were nicks here and there. I had to go over the nicks with 100 grit sandpaper and finish with 220 grit sandpaper. Used a sticky cloth to remove the dust and then applied 4 coats of wipe clean polyurethane. Perfect 18 inch stool, just what I wanted and hoped for. From the comments some have posted it appears that the stool will likely have straighter legs than shown in the product image rather than slanted or apart as shown in the image. The legs of the stool are really straight and it suits my needs perfectly. It fits in my office just behind my desk where I use it to support a wire drawer with files I need to access regularly.
