When this adapter is unscrewed with a nylon washer, it fits snugly onto the CO2 regulator. However, the side of the paintball tank is cut to the wrong depth, so the tank's O-ring never sits deep enough when fully bolted, and the entire contents of the tank are vented through the vent.

If this unit had been listed as an O-Ring Destroyer it would have received 5 stars. It doesn't matter what material, hardness, or even o-rings that are too big or too small, this thing will destroy them all. 90A, destroyed. Vinyl? Destroyed. polyethylene? BROKEN! 1111. Seriously, this is garbage. It eats the o-ring every time you put a cylinder in it.

Used with a standard 20 ounce paintball can and has been stated by others to spray CO2 through a safety hole. Some have mentioned that a washing machine is included. I did not receive a washer with my adapter. The tank worked fine on a paintball marker, so the adapter is defective. Luckily I had the o-ring the right size to put on the inside of the adapter and it made a good seal. Don't waste your money on this if you have a choice. You will most likely blow up the entire CO2 tank in your house

As other reviewers have noted, this item does not work with some tanks. But will it help you to know if it works with your tanks? It can be said like this. If your tank's valve pin is hanging over the rim, this adapter most likely will not work - it forces the pin down before the O-ring can seat the seal.
