Great pump! This pump is bigger than I expected but it works very well. Love the fact that it pumps on both the pull up and the push down, basically cutting the work in half. I bought this pump to fill a large air mattress while camping. It took about 10 minutes of grueling pumping, but it worked great. Highly recommended.

The last thing you need when it's time to jump into a lake or swim down a river is to spend countless minutes holding the hose in your mouth or with a tiny one pump to inflate. This pump does its job correctly and quickly. Also for inflatable kayaks this will be one of the best pumps. Probably faster than electric. Moves a lot of air and has the right connections for different types of valves.

Originally left a 5 star review but have now changed it to 2 stars as this pump only pumps air on the downstroke. This is a great pump when you need to inflate an air mattress, paddling pool or a range of inflatable toys. It moves a large amount of air in both the up and down motion. This pump works fine but is broken. On a recent hike, two of us took these pumps to inflate air mattresses and river floats. The pump works very well and inflates large objects quickly and easily, but both pumps broke after some time of use. My guess is that the glue and structure that holds the pump together will fall apart on a strong upstroke. So we used portable electric pumps and as long as they work it's just as fast. No batteries to die for, no wires to connect to the car. When the air mattress gets soft, simply inflate it again without leaving the tent.
