Assembly is very simple, take it out of the box, plug it in and BOOM! You are ready for sleep! This is a twin. It's about 16 inches off the ground so it's a good height, not too high and not too low. I don't have single beds so I use queen and they work in a pinch! I connect and inflate intermittently as the material stretches. After a few days of use, I usually need to air it out, but not much. Something happened to the internal structure and one of the ribs moved out about 6 inches and now it can't be used for a full night's sleep.
