These are not terry towels. They consist of 2 layers of absorbent flannel. You are looking very beautiful. I use them both as kitchen towels and as napkins. They make attractive large napkins. I was expecting the print to have more red tones, although it's actually a more rusty color.

I bought these for the kitchen and use them to wipe my hands in the sink dry. I bought them because I liked the design. However, be prepared. The pattern is applied to the fabric. Some drawings are clear; some are blurred. The fabric is not very thick. Overall they are fair for their price.

I love using classic oriental rugs in kitchen towel designs. Given the popularity of open-plan interiors where there is no separation between the kitchen and living/entertainment areas, it's a good idea to have tea towels that don't look too kitchen-y, like towels with chef's hats and serving spoons on them.
