Instructions sucks this is a sequel don't get me wrong the skimmer is a beast an air dampener you can twist the blue cap for more or less air if that so doesn't work, twist the lid to open more air and boom, it works. great skimmer ++++++

This is by far the best skimmer I have ever owned. I have been involved in reef maintenance for over 10 years. Calm. The controls really work and make sense, and you can accurately and consistently control the bubble level and water speed. It's very quiet and doesn't wobble.

The block looks solid enough and glides very well to begin with. But I received mine broken at the base even though the box was in perfect condition. I had no choice but to use it this way, but it's always frustrating to pay for a new item instead of getting it in pristine condition.

Good price. I expected to sacrifice something for the price but this skimmer works very well. The pulsation in the bubble chamber blows everything into a drip tray, so to speak. Really good price. I would wish that manufacturers would sell extra turntables because they break, then the whole thing is useless. Happy with my purchase.

This protein skimmer works very well after being chopped. Airflow works well. The DC motor is quiet and the digital control panel is easy to operate. I wish there were better instructions that would save me time on assembly and various settings. Despite some difficulties setting up and running, I would buy this product again.

I had a lot of microbubbles during the week and was disappointed but they went away. After 2 months I noticed the absence of large bubbles and cleaned the entire skimmer. I found that some macroalgae had clogged the venturi, after cleaning it the microbubbles reappeared for a few days. The skimmer works great as long as it works. After a few months the pump started turning off and displaying "Err". To restore the pump control must be switched off. A few weeks later, it shuts down after a few seconds of operation, rendering it inoperable. Cleaning the pump doesn't change anything.
