Does exactly what I wanted, 2 PCs with one monitor, keyboard and mouse. Double click on the scroll lock and it will toggle immediately. It was just what I needed to help me set up my media server and storage machine.

I have an LED monitor, a machine keyboard and a universal powered stereo speaker. They are now shared between a computer running Windows Vista and a computer running Windows 7. I can double click the Scroll Lock button and switch between the two computers. No glitches, plug and play as promised. The only thing I can criticize is the physical form of the device. It's a bit awkward to position it so that the LED indicator (which computer is selected) is clearly visible.

IOGEAR may have come a long way since the last reviews were posted in 2004, but I LOVE this product. If you can connect a keyboard, you can connect it in 2-3 minutes. I connected it to a new HP and a 5 year old Dell, the first with Vista, the second with XP. I have a set of Altec Lansing external speakers. Small and works as advertised. I am very happy with the product as I can run 2 computers on the same monitor. I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing other IOGEAR products in the future!

IOGEAR KVM Switch is a very simple and convenient way to eliminate unnecessary clutter from your workstation. With just one monitor, keyboard, and mouse, there's no confusion about which one to use. When a computer is off, everything still works when it's on. Great idea and not too expensive.
