Dors does not work at USB 3.0a speeds

Read/write access with the Sandisk Extreme Micro SD card is limited to 52 MB/s and 39 MB/s respectively. Transcend USB 3.0 Ultra-Fast Card Reader reads/writes at 89MB and 50MB respectively Low score for misleading advertising.

Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Although I am very happy with my purchase

Bought two of these for use at work. One works well while the other only recognizes the card in the reader 30% of the time. Rolled up to keep with me as a backup. Overall, however, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Dead on Arrival in Computers and Accessories

DOA. Doesn't work with MacPro or PC at any speed. Tried another 3.0 cable with the same result. Support responded within a reasonable time and acknowledged that this sometimes happens. The thin sheet metal construction wasn't bulky either. As I tried to make sure I was plugging the cable in properly, the two halves began to separate. Will be returned to Revane today. I will try something else.

DOA - Overpriced especially since it didn't work

I went to B&M because I needed a reader to quickly download some photos and my old reader died due to it of a twisted, broken cable. It was the only reader they had in this supposed electronics supermarket and the price was too high. I got it anyway, brought it home and opened it. It wasn't until I opened the box and looked at the booklet inside that I saw that it would only work with USB 2.0 or 1.1 for MAC. I finally found it on the outside of the package, but it's very low and behind one of…
