Runs like clockwork! I just wish there was a cheaper price for the cable. If I hadn't accidentally snapped off the pins on the old cable, I wouldn't have had to buy a replacement at all. Pooh! ;-)

KVM kit I bought a few years ago came with a combination of 6ft and 10ft cables delivered. It was fine when I didn't have a rack and needed a bit more distance to get to some other systems, but I installed it in the middle of the rack and the 6ft cables are already too long; 10 feet would just be tasteless. At least I get a shorter version.

A great way to extend your KVM switch to another tower. I had a setup with one tower right below where I work and another about 5 feet away from me. A standard KVM switch won't get that far, but by swapping out one of the cables I was able to control/work both computers.

I was very pleased to know that cables for IOGEAR KVM can be purchased separately. I bought a KVM with half the PS2 cables and half the USB cables because I had several older machines that used PS2. In retrospect, that wasn't necessarily the best decision. I then replaced all but one of the old boxes with new models that don't support PS2.
