TVs back in store!

I had to throw the record away so I lost my handset at the store. It's located about 60 feet from my Davis portable building. The office is a metal construction. I connected the IOGear Wireless for the first time while the TV was in my shop. No signal. I put it by a window closer to my office. The signal went on and off. So I put the IOGear receiver in front of the window and the signal works like a clock. I will protect it from the weather in a zipped bag. I believe Davis' metal building was…

Simple, worked well but not what I was hoping for - then died

Installation was quick and easy. Used this to avoid a long HMDI from my component video/stereo rack to my new BenQ projector for my newly installed 100" screen. He jumped in right away and we looked at Ant-Man as a precursor to the upcoming sequel. Video quality was good but not as clear as I expected. Sometimes the quality was more DVD quality than Blu-ray quality, but mostly pretty good. After 2 days the receiver stopped working. Tried different outlets in different rooms, but to no avail…

Big bucks don't last long

As long as it works, it's great! Excellent range, very low latency, excellent image quality. I've used it for everything from using my TV as a second monitor to video chatting to sending a signal to a church trust monitor. I ended up buying 2 more sets because the first one worked so well. Unfortunately, they weren't enough before the transmitters stopped working. Receivers are no good without transmitters. From the 3:1 it's still working great after 9 minutes, 1 of those died after 4 months…

Loses signal/connection very often.

The picture quality has deteriorated noticeably. The signal drops periodically, sometimes every 5 seconds for an hour, sometimes once an hour for just a few seconds, sometimes continuously for 10 minutes or more, and sometimes it works fine. The included IR transmitter and receiver work but have very poor latency. The sound is also often distorted. This is completely useless and unreliable as the signal could be lost at any time and you would have to either wait for it to magically recover or…

Works great for the price!

So I read the reviews of several products and decided on this one because of the price. It was right in the middle. My main concern was that it didn't work through a wall, but through 2-3. I set up home security and the house was so big I couldn't find a way to stream 4 cameras to the TV; Living room from the garage, wiring in the main room. It's not even possible to connect to a router without breaking through the walls. It has its own built-in WiFi instead of Bluetooth, which I like better…

quite annoying when it happens

They seem to work well for the most part but occasionally they lose connection. The image is tiled and blocked, then I get a "waiting for connection" message on the screen for a minute or two, and then it comes back. Happens a couple of times a night, quite annoying when it happens but I have a DVR so I just rewind the program and watch it again. They say 150 feet apart but I only have them 10 feet apart and even if I get between the two it starts to tile so you have to make sure there is…

Not even JUST OK, not good at all.

Good. So this is my second product from this company (IOGEAR), the first was an older version with a small key and a large receiver. He left within 90 days of purchase. I sent it back and they covered it with a guarantee. It lasted a year. Since it was out of warranty they didn't do anything else for me. I saw an advertisement for this model and thought I would try this new model. My setup is in my bedroom, less than 20 feet from the TV to the cable box, but who needs an HDMI cable running…

Works great until it stops (which often happens).

When they work well, they work very well. When they don't (which they often did), they can be disappointing. They are basically plug and play as there are no client settings available. As far as I know, there are no switches, no buttons, no web interface at all. This might be a strength, but as you'll see below, this can be one of its biggest disadvantages. I use them a reasonable 15ft apart with an old thin uninsulated wall between them (damn thin I swear you can almost see through). In…
