Thick edges limit application

The good thing about the plastic construction is that it's relatively easy to cut (compared to metal material). However, the edges are much thicker than a regular I/O shield. So if, like me, your motherboard is connector-to-the-edge, this may not work for you (it wasn't usable for me). .

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

So the Universal IO Mesh isn't that bad. What cutting tool do you have at home? How well you cut holes is up to you. If you have a motherboard behind it, the I/O shield should "hold up" fairly securely. That's why I deducted a star. But if you have nothing beyond the generic I/O grid. , it can spring open at the slightest pressure. I needed an I/O shield in a case for a non-traditional PC motherboard project and needed to use Sugru modular adhesive to hold the I/O shield in place. something to…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Very acceptable Quick Fix

The motherboard I ordered did not come with an I/O shield and after contacting them and offering to buy a replacement for one that I had not received I received Nothing. I even ordered exactly what I need from a Chinese Ebay account out of desperation. The versatile IOmesh met Prime's requirements, was delivered on time, and was relatively easy to work with. Aligning the components was a little tricky. You will need small, pointed scissors (e.g. wire cutters) or an Exacto knife. However, the…

Doesn't work for me.

As mentioned earlier, on some motherboards this is too wide for I/O. Otherwise this would be a good solution as long as it fits your hardware.

It is in order. - Motherboards

This might work for you in a pinch. Please note that as the description says they are made of plastic. You are a little thin. They didn't really work for my use case. Instead, I designed a custom part and 3D printed it. It's nice that it comes with two, just in case you get it wrong or want to use it with two different motherboards. Please note that the images are mostly 3D renderings. If you want it to look this clean in a case, you have to be very careful and methodical with your cutting…

With a little creativity. They work.

It takes a little creative thinking and patience, but I made it and it looks good. Better than looking at the blank where the I/O screen should be.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Frequency

So-so Computers and accessories

is made of cheap material and doesn't quite fit the mainboard. You can make it smaller so it will hold better and not fall out. You get what you pay for. I would try it a second time and it's just not worth it or the price

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Tape

Buy Stainless Steel Blanks

Very difficult to machine. The idea of a plastic junk is a good idea, although cutting the web is no easy task. I have found that stainless steel blanks work better.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • There are problems
