Don't bother either. suitable for data storage

It was the biggest heap of garbage. I spent a whole day at home just to get this awful turntable. As soon as I connected the player, I noticed that the sound quality was very poor. It had no bass at all and was really distorted. I have not connected it to the PC. If you really need a good turntable that guarantees amazing sound quality, choose the Ion Profile turntable. It was one of the worst things Ion has ever done.

Pros
  • LP convert to. WAV without a computer
Cons
  • little things

Bad product! Do not buy!

Bought for my daughter for Christmas. She wanted to be able to play her vinyl records and save them as MP3s. The speaker volume was very low when we tried to play the recording and the volume buttons didn't work. The description also said that you can connect headphones and the sound automatically goes to the headphones. Well it didn't work. The sound continued to go through the device and there was no sound in the headphones. The same thing happened when we connected our stereo speakers. Do…

Pros
  • Headphone output for fast, silent listening when broadcasting
Cons
  • Security

I DID IT AGAIN! in data storage

This is extremely stable for the most part. I've had a few times - a few days to get the consistency for this and had to play around a bit. Once I had the "know how" for it, it was great for me. It wasn't that easy given the work that needs to be done, unless it's albums. I had to alternate numerous old 45s with records. And the volume I got was a bit inconsistent, I was recording with my phone and there was no need to buy an MP3 player. I HAVE NO PROBLEM Vic

Pros
  • playback and recording. WAV files on USB stick
Cons
  • Corrupt

Just what I needed

To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the $30 I spent on this player. I had an LP that I needed to convert to MP3 because my father sang on it and I wanted it to be preserved as he had already passed away. It worked like a charm. It came with a cable to plug it directly into my laptop and use the software, but to be honest I had better luck with the USB drive that came with the player. I didn't have to mess with audio equalizers or anything like that. You just wrote everything down. If you…

Pros
  • EZ Converter software walks through the transfer steps
Cons

Excellent Player; Easy and fun

The Ion IT28 Quick Play Flash Player is everything Ion claims. small, beautiful, efficient, 3 speeds (33, 45, 78 rpm). It works perfectly. I have 7 portfolios of 78rpm recordings that I wanted to digitize and this Ion does it. Simply plug the included USB stick into the USB port, place your vinyl on the turntable and start converting. After that, you can insert the flash drive into your Mac or PC and copy the converted digital file. This is the easiest way to transfer music. You can also use…
