I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could. Bought for my Holmes HAP240. I thought a charcoal filter would work as well, but I had to trim the charcoal filter to overlap and fit inside the charcoal filter. Based on previous experience, the filter also fits: BAP520 HAP2400 HAP242 HAP412 HAP422 HAP424 HAP706 HAP716 HAP9240 HAP9242 HAP9412 HAP9414 HAP9422 HAP9424

That's great. Basically you get 4 filters for the price of a branded filter. I have 3 air purifiers in my apartment and the filters barely lasted a month due to the amount of dust so this is really saving a lot of bucks. The filters themselves fit perfectly. The black filters are too small but I just wash and use the ones that came with the machine. That works fine. I recommend them to save money and keep a lot of dust and allergens out of your home or office.

These filters are perfect for my Holmes HAP242-NUC. What a great price! I used to pay almost the same price for ONE filter. Never again! I also bought the activated carbon filter separately for an additional charge. Now that I've found this fantastic price, I'll make sure to really keep up with the filter change if the need arises. Tired of paying high prices for manufacturer replacements. They work great. I've noticed that many reviewers don't know what to do with the included activated carbon filters. When you replace the main filter and turn on the device, just wait a few seconds. Once the air has flowed through the main filter, simply place the activated carbon filter over the main filter and the airflow will hold it in place by itself.
