Worth its weight in gold

Essential for any truck or trailer mechanic. It's a lifesaver for diagnosing electrical problems on a truck or trailer.

Pros
  • Easy to use

It's ok I hope I can return this one and get a new one

Everything works but the brake light doesn't work I don't know what the warranty is on it I need to find out. I've had it for a few months now and I don't think the brake light has ever worked because I don't use it all the time, I think I've used it twice since I've had it.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Works but too expensive. The jumper is an afterthought.

While this is for testing purposes, you will not want to use this on the go. There's nothing to put a plug on it unless you're using it as a jumper/bypass. The jumper is an afterthought β€” a thin metal tab that you snap onto the barrel of a pen. A bypass/jumper must be installed in the halls. That will cost money.

Pros
  • Hands-Free
Cons
  • Minorities

This tool saves time and time is money.

If you're a trucker who drives double, you know how difficult it is to find the source of a light problem. This thing makes it a lot easier to isolate the problem, rear tag, front tag, nose stud, tail stud, sort it all out in five minutes. Find, fix, go. We don't have time to fool around. Keep this in your bag along with spare bulbs and tape.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Time saving for circuit testers

I used to work with 7-pin plugs, but never with combination plugs for tractor units. I work for a company that has semi trucks and thought this would be a handy tool. I didn't know I would use it as soon as I received it. .This is a must have for any mechanic. This eliminates the need to guess which circuits are powered and which are not. This way you can find out if the problem is with the tractor or the trailer. It should be.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Great product, well made, great tool for quick diagnosis

Great tool I use it all the time. The tool allows you to quickly determine if there is a problem with the truck or trailer electrical lighting system. Compared to my peers' Snap-On version, the only obvious difference was the presence of the Snap-On logo and a markedly different price. Many truck drivers and other mechanics have told me that they have never seen such a tool. Most of them say they will get it now. Have been using it for a few months now and use it almost every day as long as it…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Modern

Good tester - tester

I work as a chassis mechanic and deal with truck drivers on a daily basis. This tester is a great way to find out if you have a 7 way like bad circuit, telling you where to start looking for the problem. This article will help you determine if your trailer's 7-pin connector is faulty or if there is a problem with the chassis you are transporting. Remember that it's always better to use a gauge for the best readings, but if you can afford one of those gauges, this 7-position tester will help. I…

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Not everything fits
