Trailer Servicing Using Quality Tools

I have used this tester and cleaning tools to troubleshoot various makes and models of trailer towing in our fleet of trucks. Simple and reliable tools that save a lot of time when we need to connect and get started. This is necessary for me and my fleet.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some Issues

Tester display reversed When connected to a 7-pin connector; can not read.

ENTIRE waste of money. First, there are no instructions. Second, the displays on the tester are upside down. I have a Silverado 2500 HD, Duramax 2015. To see the test lights you have to lie on your back to be able to see the 7 position test lights. I have no idea what an alligator shovel is.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not the best

not a big deal breaker, but dumb. The teeth on the connector cleaner too.

Maybe I'm using it wrong but the tester on my truck is upside down, not critical but stupid. The connector cleaner teeth are too tight, I feel like I am about to pull out the connector. I think (that I used) a small piece of fine mesh sandpaper is sufficient. It's very expensive for what it is. female end, the file is not suitable for cleaning the female end. I get it and I think the tools are a great idea, but they don't work for me.

Pros
  • Not bad performance

  • Some cons

A MUST IF YOU HAVE A HITCH - ABSOLUTELY A MUST!

This is a miracle tool - I've been looking for something like this for 5 years. Cleans VERY VERY WELL on the plugs and sockets of flat plugs and round plugs. A tester is a must so ONE person can know if the turn signals work, if the forks work 24/7, if the turn signals work - everything except the brakes. it's a two-man job because one has to brake. Anything else you're about to turn on (e.g. the turn signal) goes back and looks at the plug and you immediately know there's power in the plug…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
