I've tried many cases and this one is pretty solid. All keypads work well, hold a pencil and aren't too heavy. The only downside is the extra curvature of the case, about 2 inches inside that which wraps around the front of the iPad. I haven't figured out how to use it yet, but it creates a weak point when lifting the iPad to the easel position. The front of the cover is a convenient place to store your phone or airport case. I have read several reviews that said the holes for buttons etc were poorly placed. I read another review that said the DTH Panda case was reassembled and the holes repaired. I'm happy to say that my block is perfect. All the holes are right where they should be and the Touch ID button is easy to reach with your finger to open the fingerprint.
