OS 12.5.3 does not work well with keyboard/touchpad

This would be a really good keyboard to use with my iPad Air 1 (yes, first generation) but the display didn't say that the system should be at least OS13. My iPad only works up to OS12.5.3. As a result, I was able to connect the keyboard via Bluetooth BUT there is a lag when typing. AND THE TOUCH PANEL DOES NOT WORK. Assistive Touch was enabled as instructed but to no avail, the touchpad does not work with OS 12.5.3. RETURN. upset.

A breath of fresh air

I bought this keyboard/case to replace an old worn out keyboard I've had for years. What I didn't know was that I was going to breathe new life into my iPad. Now it looks more like a (mini) Apple laptop (no Apple costs). Now my iPad is a bit bigger. The screen can be rotated 180 degrees to "share" the screen with other people nearby. So Cool Computers and Accessories

So I bought this thinking it was junk because I was lucky. Well this thing is amazing. Connects instantly. I have a 2017 iPad so I thought it wouldn't work at all but it connects so quickly and it even connects if I turn my iPad and keyboard off and on again. It's pretty cool. I suggest it I love it when my iPad looks and feels like a MacBook with a touchscreen. Very easy to set up and use

It was very easy to get up and running. There is an on/off button. As soon as I turned it on, I went to the Bluetooth setup on my iPad and it immediately showed up as a keyboard. It works great. I have to be prepared not to touch the bar while typing as it resets my cursor position. But it's just a change in my habit. The item itself works great and is as advertised.

Very Disappointed… Best Tablet Accessories

After less than 2 months of use, the case won't stand up straight while you're typing unless you're standing on a desk, or on a desk if that's a lot hard on your lap, staggers. I don't know if the case has fallen apart over time, but when I closed the case the iPad came out and cracked my screen. The Bluetooth keyboard often disconnects and the keyboard has a delay when typing, and sometimes it also prints wrong letters. Keyboard disconnects frequently

I like the mouse pad, but the Bluetooth connection goes to sleep and simply "start typing" doesn't reconnect the keyboard - you have to pause, turn the keyboard off and on again , which is time consuming because this happens frequently. If the connection stayed or reconnected while typing, it would have been an amazing keyboard, but unfortunately, turning it on and off was a huge disappointment. (And yes, my software is up to date)

Recommended for distance learning!

I bought this keyboard case for my kids to use with their school iPads during distance learning. I wanted something that was all in one and was built like a laptop with a mouse pad included.
