I bought this case for my 8 year old son. We only got it recently but it looks like a good case and screen protector. I like that the legs feel stable, allowing the iPad to stand. The carrying handle is great and the bumpers on the front are large enough to prevent bumping his tablet while in the bag. The rear microphone vents do not muffle the sound when videos are played without headphones. I will buy another one for my daughter when we buy her a tablet that I want to last a long time.

The design of this item works in every way except one: when standing alone on its two black back supports, it stands at a 90 degree angle to a table or desk (ie facing straight ahead). It should be closer to 70 degrees (i.e. tilted back slightly). Most eyes are over a countertop or table (except for small children who are seated in adult chairs) and therefore need to look down to see the screen easily. Great iPad case and nice colour, very durable and great price even with screen protector! Model A1823 but too big! Case fits our other iPad A1460 perfect but this iPad is about 5/8" wider than model A1823. The manufacturer needs to correct their manuals and Revain description. My 4 year old granddaughter was very disappointed to have to return the beautiful purple case and now I have to wait for his replacement, he won't be back for another month! :-( Hopefully he'll fit, we'll see.

For the most part, this case is great. My son is rude with his stuff. I had to make sure his iPad was protected, and it is. In this case, he threw away his iPad and it remained in perfect working order. He stepped on him and he's still fine. The only negative aspect and the reason I give it 4 stars is that the little hind legs pop up all the time.
