The 11 pound mini dachshund feels very comfortable and reliable. He likes to see me and the trail. Probably not ideal for a long hike, but seems perfectly acceptable for about 5 miles. The material and seams appear to be of high quality. Very hard to find my long dogs.

Daisy loves this bag and so do we. She weighs 7 pounds. It climbs right in, it's cozy, but it also has a lot of space. It has a mount that goes around the handle of the bag on your dog's collar, very nice! Well made, stable and practical! Machine washable, double sided (polka dot inside, colored outside). Bag measures 20" wide x 14" deep. The shoulder strap is 26 inches long. Highly recommended!

I'm giving this one three stars because it's very cute and well built. I have this in orange and it's absolutely amazing. One issue I found with this and didn't think of before purchasing is that the strap is not adjustable. This is very important for the comfort of the owner and the safety of the pet in him. Good. I got this for our very small (about 6 pounds), very old (almost 18 years old) tripod kitty Jojo. He seemed to enjoy having him on my lap. Curled up, he started making "kit-kit" sounds, but when I got up (slowly) and started walking with him, he got nervous and demanded to leave.
