🍄 Iris Hantverk Birch Wood & Horsehair Mushroom Brush Review

Such a quality product. The bristles are the perfect balance of hardness and softness to clean the most delicate mushrooms, the toughest mushrooms and everything in between. I use it in a high volume professional kitchen where I peel 2-3 pounds of mushrooms a day and it handles the load with ease!

Just received. Love the size, design, natural bristles and I'm sure it will work well but was very surprised by the rough finish (or lack of finish) of the wood. For the price, it should have been smooth as a baby's bottom. I need sandpaper or a thin steel wool to get it right.

This is the second time I am reviewing this little brush. I love it! Use it to clean or dry mushrooms under running water depending on the type of soil or dirt. The handle is perfectly balanced; ideal for "shaking off dirt" without damaging the mushrooms. I bought this as a housewarming gift for my son's new apartment.

I love this product. I bought this for my ex husband and we both love it. It is good to clean the mushrooms with a dry brush. This really shortens the mushroom cleaning time. I first saw this product in Daniel Day Lewis' Phantom Thread. It looks very international. In Europe, mushrooms have probably been cleaned this way for years. But of course they were in the US. 🍄

Great cleaning brush, really. I like the pen but I spent a few minutes on very fine sandpaper and oiled it a few more times to reduce some of the roughness. Nothing to discount, just a matter of what I like super smooth. Nice design how the hair is tied. I expect years of use if I manage not to lose it!
