Easy to install (my kid did). We started Roomba last night and it worked great with the new brush. Looking at reviews and questions, there is confusion as to which Roomba series they fit. They fit and work well but squeak like a stuck pig. I was so frustrated that after cleaning I sprayed WD40 underneath hoping it would reduce friction and therefore noise. It didn't happen, the screeching continued for several minutes of the cleaning schedule. With a newborn in the house I conceded defeat and bought a generic brand and the squeaks were gone. Very disappointed that a well known brand gave me more trouble than a generic one.

Universal: We tried the universal bristles on these brushes and they were oddly curved. I didn't think it would make a difference, but it did slow down the entire iRobot. I figured we'd just live with them until they wore out, but that caused too many problems for iRobot. OEM: We bought them and had no problems. We exchanged them for the next vacuum cleaner and iRobot worked perfectly again. We bought normal filters and brushes and they were fine.

These are not iRobot original parts. They were also marked for the 500 series and didn't fit directly into the Roomba 860 (I could have put one in, but the screw didn't go in enough to really tighten it, causing the brush to fall off and the screw to be lost). Not worth coming back for, but it's absolute rubbish. look elsewhere I ended up buying a third party kit (Amyehouse brand) which worked great and looked just like the original parts.

You can buy cheaper side brushes for Roomba, but often you get what you pay for. The last two sets of brushes I bought from Brand X didn't have a screw and didn't fit properly. They tended to fall off the Roomba. That didn't happen with these iRobot brushes. The screw is an integral part of the brush, so it cannot fall off. These brushes are perfect for my Roomba 880 and 980 robots meaning the robots clean like they should. I think they're overpriced but they work so I'll probably buy them…

We have model 692. The original side brush destroyed all the brushes in less than a month. So I started looking for a replacement. What a confusing mess! Different center hole sizes, different countersink sizes, different screw head diameters and lengths, fie! These are AWESOME genuine Roomba brushes with matching screws and just the right length. After buying 3 kits from 3 different sellers (yes I seem to consider myself a slow thinker on the matter) and got the same cheap Chinese crap that didn't fit. Too few screws, no brush cutouts, brushes that wear out in less than a month, etc. I broke down and paid an extra $3 (almost embarrassing to admit) and bought genuine OEM parts. NO MATTER!
