I was about to replace my water softener when I noticed Iron Out in the maintenance section of the owner's manual. I followed the directions with Iron Out. The water softener works again. This really worked for me.

Great for cleaning mineral samples, Super Iron Out contains an ingredient called Sodium Dithionite, which is not found in regular Iron Out. I specifically looked for the word SUPER on the packaging before ordering but what I got was a regular old iron which is great for toilets, tiles etc but not minerals.

I received a different product than specified. Super Iron Out and Iron Our are very different. I picked this listing specifically for the Super Iron Out, the price reflects it was meant to be a Super Iron Out. If I wanted an older version, I'd buy it from any other catalog that clearly states the product is Iron Out (plus, Iron Out is a lot cheaper than Super Iron Out). A very dissatisfied customer.
