This hammer is very versatile, capable of knocking out many stuck old nails and withstanding impacts. I wish it was a little heavier but overall a great hammer

I switched to a heavy hammer

The first impression is that the hammer is very well made. Robust steel construction. The handle fits my hand well. Large head area. Now I'll find projects around the house to score.

Cons

I didn't know how bad my old hammer was until I got this one.

that was awesome, simple and understandable. Only this hammer swings better than all others. It has a sturdy handle and a comfortable weight in your hand. As a bonus, the hammer head has a built in nail holder so you don't have to risk your fingers.

Pros
  • nice thing

My top choice for hand tools

This hammer is now my favorite. I gave up my Vaughn 23 oz California Framer waffle face. Unless you're in the frame business and you know you're only going to hit 2 times all day, you need a plain hammer all too often. Sometimes you just want a smooth surface so you don't leave a nice waffle print on your work. And to be honest I haven't noticed much of a difference driving 16p or 8p nails into wood since I switched to the other. when I need to nail or trim a siding. 20 ounces of this hammer…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
