This hammer is now my favorite. I gave up my Vaughn 23 oz California Framer waffle face. Unless you're in the frame business and you know you're only going to hit 2 times all day, you need a plain hammer all too often. Sometimes you just want a smooth surface so you don't leave a nice waffle print on your work. And to be honest I haven't noticed much of a difference driving 16p or 8p nails into wood since I switched to the other. when I need to nail or trim a siding. 20 ounces of this hammer hits the sweet spot for me and leaves no pain in my hand at the end of the day. This hammer has a great feel and the grip is really nice. I thought the magnetic nail holder was a gimmick, but let me tell you, it's not like standing up a ladder and trying to hammer in a nail with a free hand. Now I love this feature. For the price of this hammer you can't go wrong.
