It's difficult to really evaluate the effectiveness of these demineralizers without extra time or tools that can perform a mineralization test. However, the price of the cartridge was the cheapest I've found and the humidifier hasn't shown me a red "clear" light since I've used it two weeks ago.

I have a Homech humidifier that holds about 1 gallon of water. I was hoping this product would eliminate/reduce the white dust we get on the TV and dresser in our bedroom. I started with two rounds in the tank that did nothing. I now have four cartridges in my tank and am seeing some reduction in white dust but am very disappointed with this product.

It may be too early to tell, but I noticed that after a while, when the humidifier was turned on, a thin layer of dust appeared on the furniture. I cleaned it and after a few days everything was back. I had to assume this was the cause of the humidifier since we have hard water. So I tried the demineralization cartridge and there was no fine dust coating. So it seems to be working. So I have a spare ready.

I added two humidifiers to my 1-1/2 gallon humidifier but white dust is still forming. The cartridges float so I had to put them in a small container of water and shake them under water until they went to the bottom and then I put them in the humidifier and they went to the bottom. I think the cartridges have air inside and that makes them float. I doubt I will buy them again.

We have very hard water and haven't had water for a while. Untreated tap water is not suitable, and since I pump 5 gallons of water through ultrasonic humidifiers daily, purchasing distilled water was impractical. Those little cartridges really don't help much. I didn't get many tanks (we have very hard city water) but they helped a lot until a new water filter came along. They work and are safe as I use them in humidifiers in a special room for reptiles (snakes). I would buy again.

I've been trying to figure out what's in those cartridges. The list of ingredients and information about where they are made are NOT listed in the description. I bought these because the reviews were good. Don't mislead everyone. Please look at the photos I took. The product did not come with a list of ingredients or instructions. My experience with isinlive demineralization cartridges has shown them to be totally ineffective. A cartridge was added to my humidifier on the first day of use, but after two days of use it's still the same white mineral powder, white dust all over the house. On day 3 of use we decided to pre-treat the water for 12 hours with one Isinlive demineralisation cartridge per gallon of water before adding water to the humidifier - as a result the amount of white powder coming out of the humidifier…
