For a tool that you can only use a few times a year if it's perfect. Beautifully made from alloy, will not damage the locking ring, has an o-ring insert for a snug fit around the spindle and is a very good price.

Really well made tool. Light but very good quality. The two O-rings are pleasant to the touch. They fit the Shimano BB-MT800 bottom bracket and SLX FC-M7100 crank lock nuts and I'm sure many others have the same standard. I'd like to keep it, but I've already received one with cranks as a gift.

I have to shift the 34 chainring to 30 on my Canyon Exceed to tackle the 24 percent hills next to me. I took the crank off according to the instructions on the YT, the tool fitted perfectly but when using the adjustable wrench it started rounding as it was very tight so I went to HD to buy a 1-1/4 wrench . After that, it was easy to unscrew, switch and reinstall. Highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews, but this product deserves praise. A very well designed and executed instrument. The level of precision with which the tool engages the locking ring seems unattainable. I've never seen a tool mate with such a tight clasp. Which is important considering how small the surface area of a Shimano snap ring is. The double O-ring is a nice and efficient/useful detail. Well done!

Great tool! I love the o-ring that sits tight on the spindle and being able to use a BBT-9 tool to turn this tool is perfect. However, removing the tool can be a little tricky. I had to use a thin edge tool to separate this tool from the chainring. It wasn't a huge effort, it was just impossible to grab this tool and move it after tightening the sprocket. Not painful at all, but it would be nice to have an extra feature built in to make it easier to retrieve the tool after tightening. Overall…
