I like this carafe. As with any fully stainless type, you must first fill it with hot water to preheat it. My tea stays hot for hours - I drink it long before it gets cold. I also like the lid design. There's no plastic cover to twist, smooth, or try to clean with vain. Just a silicone seal on a durable stainless steel lid that's easy to clean.

I made hot coffee at 7am and kept it in this container (after preheating inside). The coffee was a bit cooler at lunchtime but still warm enough that I didn't have to reheat it in the microwave. I'm glad I bought this item. It was more expensive than some of the others, but the brushed stainless steel look is pretty nice and well worth the extra money.

This is a really nice carafe and just the size I was looking for. I love that the lid does NOT slam if I open it badly. It opens just enough to pour. You can of course open it wide for cleaning. I took off 1 star because the Revain name says it's dishwasher safe, but the accompanying documents say "Do not dishwasher clean!" I knew this would happen based on other reviews and I don't mind taking it from to wash hand. However, they should not be in the name.

I like that coffee doesn't flow through hidden channels, but straight out of the coffee pot. What surprised me is that the lid doesn't open fully with the thumb lever, rather you have to lift the lid manually or turn the pot upside down to open the lid. Surprise! But it is a beautiful design, pleasant to the touch and rustproof. Keeps my coffee hot during my morning coffee session. although I fill it with hot water a bit before pouring the coffee.

Bought this as a gift for my mom. She has a Keurig coffee maker (original) and likes to brew multiple cups of coffee at the same time. She uses it like a large carafe. Keeps coffee hot for hours. So if she does housework on Saturdays and wants coffee, she does it with ease. Things she has used in the past were an old kettle and oddly enough a Pyrex measuring cup. She loves substitutes. Looks stylish, well made

I liked this carafe I bought a second one at a higher price! Since then, the price has come down again (doh!), but it's worth it. I use it as a kettle, put a tea bag in it, fill it with hot water, add half and half and sugar and my tea stays hot for HOURS. The longest I've left so far was about 6 hours, but it was still very hot. I only received this carafe last week and have used it several times. As with all thermographs, best results are achieved by first heating them with hot water, then keeping them hot for many hours. (Just last night I left some herbal tea in when I went to bed and it was still warm this morning.)
