Description of ISpring RCC7AK Capacity Drinking Remineralization

Certified to NSF/ANSI 58, 6-Stage Alkaline Remineralization Layered Filtration - Exclusively designed to restore the natural alkalinity and mineral balance of water; this reliable and ultra-safe Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration system converts your water into clean, pure and healthy drinking water by removing up to 99% of over 1,000 harmful contaminants like chlorine, fluoride, lead (removes up to 98%), arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium and more. GREAT-TASTING MINERAL WATER - A standard 5 stage RO system produces slightly acidic water with a pH of 7. 0 or below because the RO membrane removes not only harmful pollutants but also a few helpful minerals. The iSpring RCC7AK Reverse Osmosis water filter includes an additional 6th stage - an Alkaline Remineralization filter which restores healthy minerals and produces a balanced alkalinity, which gives your water a more natural taste than regular 5 stage RO water filter. LOW MAINTENANCE - Transparent 1st stage housing for easy visual inspection. Three extra long life pre-filters to remove large contaminants and protect RO membrane. Ultra fine (RO) filter to remove contaminants down to 0. 0001 microns; fine GAC filter to provide final polishing to the purified water and (AK) filter to finally restore just the right proportion of healthy minerals and a natural alkaline balance. The end result is great-tasting bottled-water quality. EASY TO INSTALL & NO LEAKS - The water purifier is designed for do-it-yourself installation and all necessary parts for installation are included. Backed by clear installation manual, instructional videos, and access to life-time technical support. The entire alkaline water filter fits nicely under a kitchen sink. For leak-free installation, simply push tubing 1⁄2 inch deep into quick-fitting connectors and lock; no threading pipes needed. 100% SATISFIED CUSTOMERS - RCC7AK from America’s favorite brand of under sink water filter is the highly rated reverse osmosis systems. Comes with 1-year limited manufacturer warranty upon registration and lifetime personalized support from GA, USA, combined with premium quality components, this water filter is to deliver endless bottled quality drinking water right in your home for many years to come, eliminating plastic waste.

As reliable as possible and great tasting water

This is a great system. There was room under our double sink so I installed it there. It was easy to install except the spigot was in an awkward spot and I have arthritic hands so it took some patience. I'm a woman in her 50s and did it myself in a few hours in one evening - the guides and videos this company offer are second to none. I like that they give a leak alert just in case. I turned it on and immediately there were no leaks. The water tastes amazing and I feel better because the…

The iSpring system is Prop 65 Warning! Contains chemicals

ATTENTION! Prop65 Attention! After studying water filters and choosing this system, I was happy with my choice. He has great reviews. We installed the system and had an issue with the water not flowing through the reverse osmosis membrane so I went back to the Amazon listing. I noticed the company added a Prop65 warning: May contain chemicals known to cause cancer or birth defects! I called the company and they told me there was nothing to worry about but they would not disclose what is in the…

Great system update

I needed a new reverse osmosis system. My old system was over 7 years old, it's time for something better. I found that ispring has a 6 stage reverse osmosis system. I also looked at the cost and availability of replacement filters. I love that you can buy filter kits at a reasonable price. I have a reverse osmosis system in the basement under the kitchen. The reverse osmosis system is well packaged and labeled. The instructions are easy to understand. The filters are packed in their containers

  • Excellent design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Update: One year later still perfect!

Everything turned out exactly as in the installation instructions, clear and understandable. My wife loves to drink water and her choice of water is Nestlé's pure life. She doesn't like some of the more expensive clichés so I had some hesitation in buying the system just so she doesn't like it, but for the price I could throw it away and save it from bankruptcy. Installed, filled and merged it yesterday. Fill up twice and go to sleep. This morning I go into the kitchen and find a cheerful note…

Quality system, easy installation.

It actually took a few hours to assemble the system as I had to navigate the garbage chute to attach it. The assembly process itself is not very complicated as most of the parts do not require any additional tools. For example, the hose has quick release buckles that snap in place like a shark bite. I had to drill a hole in the drain pipe for the drain fitting. I already had a faucet hole. The kit includes spares and small parts should you need anything in the retrofit. I actually had an extra…

  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Media could not be loaded. I'm a contractor with a bad back, or even if you don't have a bad back, permanent mounts under the sink can be a real pain when changing filters or checking for leaks. Moving the filter to the kitchen floor keeps all hoses connected that don't need to be disconnected, except for the hoses on the filter housings. The hardest part is getting under the sink and taking out the filter unit and the rest is easy. I just sit on a stool in the kitchen, change filters and check

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

At first I was afraid to install it

What I didn't like: 1) The packaging was quite heavy. I groaned a little as I picked it up. (Hey, I had to find SOMETHING!) But I'm pretty picky, so I'll update this review if I find any more flaws. I think I should add that I almost peed my pants when I heard a loud click as I inserted the reverse osmosis membrane cartridge into her body while her support guy was on the phone (see below). But everything was fine after checking if the cartridge survived and if I needed to change my underwear…
