Password issue in Computers and Accessories

I know the password but it seems I didn't follow the correct procedure and got locked out. It will presumably lock you out after several tries (I think 15 is the magic number). I tried 3 times. The leaflet that came with it does NOT mention how to solve this problem so I had to search the internet for an answer and email someone in England to help me clear the blockage. I can't unlock it instead of resetting it so I smashed it up and threw it away.

The Auto Lock feature makes this disc unusable. Very disappointed.

I took my iStorage diskAssure2 out of the box, created my own admin password and thought I was done until I noticed that the auto-lock feature disabled the drive after just 50 seconds. I followed the instructions and tried increasing the time limit. I also tried disabling the auto lock feature entirely. Nothing worked. Then I read another review here about the same issue and a company representative said that there is a setting in Windows 10 related to USB port timeouts. A companyโ€ฆ
