Probably the most useless product I've ever received from Revain. 24 hours after installing the first filter (before installing it, I soaked the filter), the filter is dry, the water level in the tank has not changed, and the humidity in the room has dropped by 2%. Error repurchasing this product.

They work great! Here's how to make any filter last longer if you use this thing at night: Empty the tank in the morning, leave the tank disconnected from the humidifier, empty, with the lid open to dry. Run the humidifier fan on high power for a while until the filter is completely dry. The electricity costs of a fan running for several hours are minimal. Even if you leave it off all day at work, I think it's cheaper than changing a moldy filter more often.

This filter is excellent. I've been buying replacement wick filters for my humidifier for years, and usually after the first few patches the filters get damp and sluggish and can't stay in place. Worse, sometimes parts of it start falling off. And I usually let them dry completely because I keep forgetting to refill the humidifier so it HARDLY dries out. I recently bought 6 packs of these ITidyHome wicks for my two Honeywell 350 humidifiers. Smart decision! The wicks sit well in the humidifier and more importantly after pre-wetting they seem to be working just fine! I have a hygrometer in a room next to a piano that needs humidity, especially as I have a wood stove most piano days.
