Very nice trash can. Requires 4 batteries and has a small opening. The regular 13-gallon trash bags you buy in stores will fit, but don't reach to the bottom. Holds a lot more junk than our previous one. It has a small compartment for deodorant smell. Sleek, tall look and easy to clean. I would buy it again and recommend it. The price is great compared to other similar products.

This trash can is perfect for what I need and if you have a small dog it can't get in. No, the pouch isn't difficult to pull out once you've overfilled it. Yes, the bag tears a bit when overfilled. You can overfill it, but all you have to do is push the junk further down. Yes the hole is small but it fits a gallon of milk, you can crush a can of soda and it fits perfectly in a regular trash can, or a two liter bottle of soda will fit in this trash can.

I bought this bin on January 12, 2008 so it's 10 years old. It still works fine. I didn't buy a power pack and I've only had to change the batteries in it 4 times in 10 years. I live in New England and we have periods of high humidity in the summer. As a result, the stainless steel has started to develop light rust spots due to the humid summer environment, but this is to be expected with stainless steel. I was very happy with this purchase and would buy another one without hesitation!
