savior! We bought floating shelves from Home Depot. Although the shelves came with the equipment, it was very cheap and unreliable. The dowels and screws couldn't even support the weight of the shelves, let alone what was on them. They moved and slid down. So I bought them based on the reviews and WOW! Oh so glad I did! They're a lot more reliable than the gear we had. With these dowels and screws, the shelves won't wobble or fall! 10/10 I would buy again!

Let me start by saying I've used heavy drywall anchors many times so this isn't a new concept to me and I haven't had any issues with it in the past. They are only made so cheaply that they were removed when I drilled them! The plastic is very soft and I had trouble just screwing them into the wall before they broke, even using a drill to drill a hole in that spot as a starting point.
