Great gift idea, I thought of this for my wife who just got the bar to finish our living room. The blue backlight is dim so the area is not illuminated at night. The tools are very easy to use and opening a wine bottle is EASIER than ever. Our friends can't get past the system and they all want to try it out. This product still does everything it advertises. I would rate it higher but I only drank it one day and only opened one bottle of wine. I used a foil cutter and aerator and they worked as expected. I have NOT used the recorder feature so I can't rate it. I also don't know how many bottles can be opened on a single charge, how long it takes to charge, and how many times the battery can be recharged before it dies.
