Iwata LPH80-104G HVLP Mini Spray Gun: Precision and Efficiency with 150 ml Cup - IWA4926 Review

Don't fall for this little gun! Shoots base/clarity sooo nice. The soft fan pattern surprised me the first time I shot clear. I painted a custom motorcycle helmet and there was virtually no orange peel when it was said and done. This pistol has an amazing pattern for its size and will not disappoint. The 150ml cup is small but easy to change by ordering the 3M PPS 31 adapter and using the larger cup.

I'm amazed at how well this airbrush works. I've been using it for a while and have wanted to use it in my art for 13 years. The price is fantastic, the ease of cleaning this airbrush is amazing and when you want it to do what you want it to do without causing you too much trouble. I've used other airbrushes similar to this one, the same colors, and they clogged me within 5 minutes. I didn't have a problem with that. I'm thinking about buying another one. I don't even know why. I just love it!

If you've ever owned an Iwata product, you already know what I'm about to say. If you have a cheap $40 gun that looks exactly like this gun and it seems to work well and you're just wondering if it's worth spending the money on, well, it depends. If you're just swiping cheap stuff with a cheap gun, there's no need. The LPH80 is the best mini gun you can buy. They will use it for "big" small jobs. The E2 cap is too precise if you ask me. The E4 cap is great for cutting out posts or minor repairs to bumper covers. You can make a drawing almost the size of an airbrush, but it's nice to have a good 5 inch fan if you need it.
