in my experience < this splitter works as expected BUT! Once you get it working it should NEVER be moved out of position or it will be clipped. I suggest attaching it to something that won't allow it to move, and then plugging in wires and playing around with it until you find a magic position that it likes and sends signals through it. The only complaint I have is that the picture flickers during power surges, e.g. B. in the case of lightning strikes nearby. The device I received was not working. Actually. after turning on. It shorted out my TV's HDMI input motherboard! I restarted my TV, contacted LG support and they confirmed that the HDMI port was overloaded and the chip burned out. During the holidays a friend told me he had a similar setup but with this HDMI 1 x 2 splitter. I bought it on Dec 26th - received it on Dec 29th (!) and installed it with no problems.
