Removed hum from my VHF

Used this on my Ramsey FM transmitter power line and it removed the annoying hum I was picking up on the receiver. Perfect for this app, easy to install and does what it's supposed to. I couldn't believe it worked and wish I had bought them years ago. Many different sizes, most of them are closed but easy to open and install. Price was great, delivered quickly, less hassle than trying to find an electronics store and driving there.

Get rid of confusing issues with WiFi, garage openers, etc with these

I ordered these to solve an issue with a garage door opener that was malfunctioning due to interference from a cool, low-power LED light I had recently installed for my landscaping, not working Bought from Revane. I guess it's ok then, they create a problem but also sell you tools to solve it ;) One of them with a garage door opener antenna wrapped around it got the job done. You're less likely to be locked in your own house :o

Appears to be well built.

Good range of sizes at great prices. No mention of ferrite connections. So if you have a specific problem and you know what you need, you'd better study something instead. If you want to just stick them on anything to reduce VHF noise a bit, this is probably a great set. I'd guess it's a Mix 43 as there's no evidence other than that it's common on these cheap specimens. Wrap the wire or cable twice (or as many times as you like) for best performance, regardless of composition. The clamps aren't

Fixed TVI and RFI issues

I am a radio amateur (ham radio) installed a new antenna and with high power (approx. 900 watts) removed the picture from the television by 20 meters. I installed a couple of these on the power cord of the set top box and it solved the problem right away. No more problems with TVI! I also had quite a bit of hum from my computer speakers and subwoofer at 15 meters (21.0MHz). I put one on each speaker wire and power cord and the background was reduced by 50%, added another on each speaker wire…

- Attention Emptor -: Car electronics

Quantity not twenty pieces. Arrived in a heavy box that looked like a mailing envelope. Twelve ferrite elements in a freezer bag. Five others were loosely tossed into a shipping container as if sewn on to make up for the apparent defect. We brought the total to sixteen articles, not twenty. Three larger diameters were open, the rest were locked. They are difficult to open unless you have instructions (there aren't any) or if you know the secret. I managed to get the three sizes I needed to open

They fixed my monitor flickering problem!

I have a 10 inch portable LCD monitor that may flicker. I've replaced power cords, USB adapters, HDMI cables and adapters, everything I can think of and it still randomly turns off. Sometimes once a day, sometimes every few seconds! I thought it was some kind of interference so I bought them and plugged them into the power and HDMI cables and both ends on the monitor and USB-C. to the HDMI adapter. This seems to have fixed the issue as swiping is now very infrequent, maybe once or twice a…

Frequency range good for noise filter

So I bought these to try and fix a problem in the 122.975MHz band caused by a cheap lightbar I bought. I installed one and it did little to fix the problem, then I installed a few more and it almost seemed to increase the noise. I've since learned that certain ferrites work for certain frequencies. Now reading the questions about what this mix is, it becomes clear why people are asking this. The seller does not say what frequency they are intended for. So I found the information I needed from…

Does the job at a good price

My Ender 3 V2 display started making noise and jumping through menus after I installed the LED backlight in its case. A little research has shown that many people have observed similar behavior with all types of RF noise sources across the Ender range. I added these ferrite beads to the LED ballast outputs first; However, this was not enough to fix the problem. Adding to inputs and outputs was successful. Perhaps the real source of noise here is the AC/DC converter and not the LED ballast, but…
