Poor mic for noisy environments

Unlike other reviewers who touted the quality of the mic in noisy environments, my experience was very poor. So bad that I can't even use them in a mid-range noisy environment (like a not-so-busy coffee shop). I keep getting asked to turn off the microphone. I bought a headset based on reviews and now I need to find another solution. On the plus side: the headphones are well made and last well, the battery life is very good.

Great headphones! for in-ear headphones

This is my second wireless headset - my first was on-ear and worked well. I needed to upgrade my work laptop in July and this headset wasn't working well so I went looking for another one. The Jabra has a great microphone and I was told my voice sounded real (not robotic). The overlay was new to me but I really appreciate it as it doesn't let noise through. It's pretty comfortable too. Once I get used to the neck piece it's very comfortable. All in all just what I needed!

Pros
  • understandable also for the old
Cons
  • socket required

great when they work - slow customer service

Really enjoyed the 2 weeks of using them. I bent down to pick something up off the floor and when I got up, one got stuck on the table (see photo - very smooth edge of the table) and split in two. I contacted the support team and they directed me to a confusing and buggy ticketing system. After trying to create an account for a few days, I realized I could just return them to Revain. It took almost 2 months to replace them. The new headset turns off randomly during a call/meeting. I don't want…

Great for remote workers

Jabra did a great job with this headset. I was looking for something that would work well for teleworking in cafes and noisy places and still be able to hear customers on the phone and have them hear me clearly with no background noise. The headset is great for this purpose! As an added surprise, this headset (65e) has a feature called sidetone, although you won't find any documented information about it anywhere. This is a feature that reproduces your own voice for a more natural listening…

Can't keep your headphones in place?

I needed a headset for Zoom and MS Teams calls but really didn't want a headset that would fit over my head and ears. I can't wear regular headphones because they just won't stay in my ears. I definitely need the ones with wings to hold them in place. I've been looking for headphones like this for a long time, but haven't found any with a microphone. I heard Jabra is a great brand so I checked it out. I'm so glad I did. They have different types of headphones and these are perfect for me. They…

Best All-in-One Headset

I work in a busy office and this is by far the best headset I have ever used. Great sound for music with the right earbuds - try them all first! Works great in conjunction with Samsung S8 and iPhone X - I can receive calls from either of them. SOUND SOUNDS GREAT - used it on gate calls in O'Hare and the experience was amazing - crystal clear on my end and the person I spoke to said I sounded very clear (despite the excitement of full flight) . The Jabra app lets you use a variable sidetone so…

Great wireless headset for remote work

Designed for all-day comfort. I use them regularly and seem to use them all day including listening to music and using them for video conferencing and phone calls. They have a great feature that allows them to connect to a Bluetooth USB port (Link 370) and a phone at the same time. It connects easily with Apple and Android phones. The audio quality was great, I had no complaints about not being heard and I can easily hear anyone on a call. I love the magnetic earbuds, they keep them from…

Pros
  • Ideal for me
Cons
  • No manual

Line of sight required, comfortable

the microphone sounds too nasal, but otherwise the voice quality is quite good. the neckband is quite comfortable, the winglet on the earphone stings a bit. The buttons are all pretty tight. The 3 volume up/down and answer call buttons are all the same size, making it difficult to tell them apart. The audio is good, but as soon as I leave my room and walk down the hall about 10 feet away from me and the line of sight is blocked, the signal becomes very distorted and intermittent. I don't lose…

In short: a great headset for people who need it to make phone calls!

tl;dr: Great headset for people who need it to make calls! I've had it for about 2-3 weeks. I mainly use the headset for business calls (hours a day) when I'm in a coffee shop and there's some noise and some music around me (although music isn't the main reason I bought this headset). You hear me very well. compared to every other headset I've tested. There is NO replacement for an "external" microphone/boom. Most if not all TWS do a terrible job with the mic. I had a Plantronics 5200 and an…
