Jack Kimmel Moravian Light Topper Review

Works and looks good - just as expected. To the reviewers who complained about how difficult it was to assemble - "what, what, whiny kids". I have big fingers so I dropped a few clips but enjoyed the 10 minute (or less) build. That's not difficult.

Assembly required but I did it in less than 10 minutes. Assembly consists of connecting one "point" of the star to another and using a small plastic clip to hold them together. Directions were easy to understand. For the price, this star looks great on a tree. I was concerned the clips would be distracting, but honestly when it's on it's not that obvious unless you actually look at it.

This top is 10" tall/wide and fits our 8ft tree perfectly. We also like the combination of two bar sizes on the star. Assembly was fairly intuitive (good, because the instructions weren't entirely clear) and only took about ten minutes. We didn't like the mounting straps at all, but we drilled a hole in the tree's main trunk and inserted a mounting spike. Went like clockwork.

I was looking for a new defoliator and there were so many horrible reviews it seemed impossible! Yes, you must collect this star together. It took me about 10 minutes, and my two young children "helped" by playing with the characters. It wasn't a difficult 1000 piece puzzle like some of the other reviews would have you believe. yes it is plastic Do I want a handcrafted glass version? Yes! But for $25 I agree I won't have it. Also, with a few young kids and cats, plastic is the smart way to go…
