VERY GOOD OPTICAL LENS

Very useful tools for stone seekers and gem collectors. This is a quality tool well worth the price. You could spend a lot more money and you won't see a significant improvement in the optics.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

These DO NOT WORK!

It looks like nothing but goggle welding. It doesn't matter how bright the light I'm looking at them with. I can't see anything through the filter, including the gem I'm looking at. I have a 325 lumen flashlight and a 660 lumen flashlight that emits a beam of light at 600 yards. Don't waste money. I've bought Chelsea and Ruby filters and neither of them work. They also came with no instructions. This is a good indication that they are not who they say they are.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

I know I need more practice to use them as I'm still having trouble figuring out the exact shades/tones of a color to sort through the different stones I've tested (Red Tourmaline, Ruby, Garnet , spinel, etc.). for ruby filters and green tourmaline, chrysoprase, emerald, jade, peridot, etc.). These filters look and feel good. They are a good…
