I received 2 cables that were very long for my mountain bike and fit perfectly! They were exactly the same as the Jagwire cable I replaced and I was happy to actually get a replacement cable for the price of 1 cable. I want more sellers to ship their items with reduced packaging.

As another reviewer said, I don't think these are actually Jagwire Slick SS cables. Compared to other Jagwire Slick SS cable sets I own, they have a matte finish and their ends are stamped "JC" while the stainless steel cables are stamped "JS". They work but you can get smooth stainless steel cables for a little less elsewhere and it's not what is advertised!

Perfect fit! My Shimano cable was kinked and frayed and derailleur adjustment was impossible. Yhis snapped in for both front and rear derailleurs and was easy to tighten. I have never replaced shifter cables (yes, brakes) and the process was very simple and straightforward. I recommend watching some YouTube videos if you've never done one. I hope I don't have to buy them again, but if I do I'll buy them again.

Shift cables are usually made of galvanized or stainless steel. I prefer stainless steel as it should be more corrosion resistant than zinc plated (yes, chemists can consider stainless doesn't mean no rust, but close enough).
