🎮 Jakks Pacific Mortal Kombat 545 Review

My 13 year old son wanted this because he loves Mortal Kombat games, it was easy to plug in and play, it doesn't have graphics like his PS3 or Xbox 360 games but he still likes it and has fun, so I guess that's the main thing.

I'm glad I added this plug n play device to my collection. The gameplay is exactly the same as in the MAME version. I was surprised that it has a 3 player link cable for Vs mode if you have 2 devices. Highly recommended for all fans of retro games.

I recently ordered this game. It was a lot of fun, but after playing against the computer for a while I was ready for the next level: playing against my friends via a special cable connecting two of these games. It is so much fun! And it will save tons of coins in slot machines!

In general the game is good, almost arcade-like. I would say it basically reminds me of the 32x version. The layout of the controller buttons is pretty weird, but I personally also use it to build a mini arcade machine, so I don't care. For $20 I would definitely buy this game but if you want more just get the ps3 arcade version with the original 3 mk. 4/5

The controller was nice, but the cable had to be held in a certain way to get the volume in game, sometimes the screen would go black if you didn't pull the cable up in a certain way . The high price of this item should mean that it is faultless. I understand the cosmetic wear and tear on a used item, but not testing it properly and not allowing it to be sold when the buyer has to hold the wire to hear the game is too much for me.
