As a result of using this surge protector, I found that it did not effectively protect my electronics. While it may be affordable, it is not worth the risk of damage to your valuable devices. The only pro is its low price, but the con outweighs any benefit. Look elsewhere for reliable surge protection.

A one star rating was unreasonable. And to say that China only produces junk is simply not true. The device generates a fairly stable voltage of 34 VDC. For my application it has been working without problems for a few weeks. I set up a voltage regulator to provide a specific VDC. Therefore, if your equipment is critical enough to require accurate DC voltage, you should have such a regulator as part of your system. I don't think AC-DC transformers will always provide an accurate DC voltage…

CAUTION CAUTION. SELLER AND PRODUCT. This charger is rubbish. I plugged it in and put a voltmeter on it and it jumps between 35-45 volts. It never stays constant and doesn't output exactly the voltage it should be, 30 volts. I even went as far as cutting the end off and trying bare + wires and got the same results. All Chinese garbage.
