Gasket, Ring & Head Flange Kit

Gaskets are a bit small and may not fit Harley V-Twin heads. The split rings are fine and the chrome studs have a good base and are higher than stock which fits very well. (The screw threads are the same as the Harley cleats.)

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Go to Exhaust Service Kit

Includes locking ring, gaskets and improved oversized flanged nuts. It's a thick cone shaped gasket and they seal well. Install them carefully or use a tool to push them in. Good packaging at hand.

Pros
  • Convenient Item
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Good seals in seals

Worked very well in my 2007 Buell Ulysses. Installation Tip: Put the gaskets in the freezer overnight and buff the area of the outlet where the gasket is held with a fine grit Scotch Brite and it should go in without a problem. Heavy spare nuts are a good addition. Re-tighten after a few heating cycles and you're done.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Fine

These are tapered shims

Now that Harley dealerships are closed I had to order them online. I really wanted the Screamin' Eagle style but decided to give these a try. They look very high quality. I have the correct installation tool so hopefully it will install correctly on my 2005 FLSTFI with Vance and Hines Long Shots. I will update once the bike is up and running again.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Don't really like it, it's ok

Worked great: Gaskets

Note that you will need a tool to insert the gasket into the outlet port. I made a tool out of washers and a screw that did the trick. There are many instruction videos on the internet. DO NOT install these seals without first watching a few installation videos! You save yourself the headache and time/cost of replacing seals to do it all over again.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Negative impression

Missing parts, unscrewed gasket and clamps that are too tight

First I ordered a set with gaskets, reservoirs and new flange nuts. Received package and 4 flange nuts are missing. Check item # and everything matches. The packaging even lists the nuts that remained in the original packaging. I didn't want to bother with returns because I needed them as they were kept on time. Went to local Ace Hardware and bought 4 new flange nuts. This will be my third set of gaskets of this type. I use a few tricks, mostly a small amount of dish soap to slide right in…

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

**HP CARE, READ THIS**

My review is based on the use of a tapered fiber seal (or woven SS, whichever you prefer) as opposed to a copper O-ring and mirrors not reflected here the manufacturer or seller . These gaskets seal very well and are a perfect choice if every ounce of performance is not important to you. If you've spent countless hours and money trying to get every tiny amount of performance you can squeeze out, USE a COPPER O-RING if at all possible. That's why. This fiber gasket, like any other gasket…

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Compatibility
