Trademark. Bad product

These sewing needles were very expensive but I needed them so I decided on the brand of my sewing machine. It took several weeks to arrive. The first 2 needles broke in less than 5 minutes. Very disappointed in these needles. One piece made, 1 needle left. I've never seen needles break as easily as these. Could you give them back to me, let alone make me pay for them.

Pros
  • Handsfree kit
Cons
  • Very expensive

Wonderful needles - GREAT service!

A packet of these needles came with my new Janome but I haven't used them in over a year as I already had some really good sewing machine needles that I use with my old Vikings. I recently tried one of the Janome Blue Tip needles to hem a pair of blue jeans because my "really good" needles didn't work at all. The blue tips were the answer to going through the side seams where 5-6 layers of denim had to be sewn. I was amazed that my #11 needle didn't break, even though I sewed the seams more…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Weak and overpriced.

I wasn't happy with these blue tip needles. You are very thin. I put in the first one when I was starting to put together my last quilting project, and before I had finished quilting it (with the running foot. Not even free motion quilting, just straight stitch quilting) I put in the last one. Meanwhile, after purchasing it, I found that some of the skipped stitches I encountered on another project had more to do with the thread and fabric I was using than machine needles. I don't understand…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
