I just received this item and as another customer mentioned there is no Janome branding on either the case or the bobbins. However, I called Janome and they said that some of their reels don't have a J and that SewVacDirect is a certified supplier. However, I'm giving it three stars because the hinge was broken when I received it due to poor packaging (shipped in a plastic envelope). Similar plastic items must be shipped in a box.

As well as being genuine Janome bobbins I love that I can get them in one colour. This allows me to keep them separate from the bobbins that fit in my brothers' machines. I'm new to Janome.
