These things are great!

Tried several different RS232/Serial adapters and they usually fail due to compatibility. These I just bought were the best and cheapest I've ever gotten. They use the PL2303 chip and work like clockwork. I use them in Arduino projects and also to create software adapters for various ham radios that I have. I use the pins that are on them for the Arduino and cut them down to fit the special connectors for the radio. I will order them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a

As they should be

These are RS-232 cables from DB9/M to DB9/F, 10 feet long. These are straight cables, not null modem cables. Keep that in mind when you buy them. If you need a null modem connection, either buy the correct cable or a crossover null modem connector. I use them to remotely control devices that use an RS-232 connection and they work flawlessly.
