I was so excited when my backpack arrived. I was very disappointed that there was some kind of stain on it. I will try to wash it off before sending it back and asking for a replacement. Very disappointed. UPDATED: So the stain came out and I'm a lot happier! It's much lighter than my adidas backpack of the same capacity. I think I will be happy!

Do not buy this bag. I love Jansport bags and always carried them to school. I purchased this bag and received it around January 20th, 2020. The bag lasted about 3 weeks and was already torn on the inside. When I tried to return it, the "refund period" had already expired. Jansport bags come with a lifetime guarantee so I don't know why I can't return this bag. Again not good quality. It broke in less than a month and I only keep my books in it.

This backpack is big! Too big for my preschooler but she still loves it. This is the good quality you expect from jansport. Would definitely recommend although I personally hate all the pockets and compartments because I have to open each one to make sure we don't get any moldy/rotten uneaten snacks from school. BUT for an older student organizing their own bag, this is great. My next child who goes to kindergarten will get a backpack with ONE main compartment 😂

I bought this because of the lifetime warranty. Usually my backpacks break due to normal use. The cup holder finally failed about a week ago. I've had this for almost 2 years now and use it constantly. I use it to hold my wallet so I carry it every day. One of the zips broke after about 4 months so I believe it is defective as all the other zips are working properly. It's very hard. My L/O liked the design of this book bag, we wanted something roomy with lots of pockets, and they are, but it's been less than a month since we've been to school, and only a few weeks with a full backpack and the straps are already tearing at the seams! He carries his laptop to and from school every day and I'm worried that one day the stairs will break completely causing him to fall, grab his backpack and break the laptop! very soft but big enough that an extra laptop bag can be used.

Low value at $48 for a cheap backpack. Photos are deceiving, cons and I daresay half the reviews are fake. It's a $20 bag at its best! It is also known as a laptop and sold to teenagers or adults. I work in healthcare and love to carry my bag to work without having my hands on coffee and keys. I also use it as my personal luggage for air travel.
